Looking for Mist Sprays?
Misting nozzles and mist spraying equipment are used predominantly by commercial growers and propagators of fine plants and flowers as part of the horticultural market. Horticulture is the art of gardening and plant growing; it can be differentiated from agriculture in two distinct ways:
- Generally a smaller scale of cultivation, using small plots of mixed crops – as opposed to a large field of a single crop.
- The cultivation of a wider variety of crops, often including fruit trees.
The mist sprays are normally used in an enclosed environment – most commonly within a ‘glass house nursery ’, ‘plastic tunnel nursery’, or other type of plant growth centre and are commonly mounted on piping running along a ceiling (for larger glass houses/growth centres) or on individual hose posts (for smaller nurseries). They emit a constant, consistent, sphere of gentle mist, which is absolutely critical for the successful breeding (in terms of growth, yield, and quality) of crops and fine plants.
Features & Uses:
- Delivery of atomized water / nutrient spray for the mass propagation of seedlings and cuttings
- Nozzle sizes to suit required dousing levels: ranging from 0.4-1.2mm diameter
- Anti-drip valves, filters, and alternative mounting threads are available
- Economic usage of water when compared with other irrigation systems
- The Mist Sprays require water pressure of between 3-6 bar
